Hello Everyone!!
If you have not heard yet, Many changes have taken place on Blackthorne Gardens. Minh had Sold it to Me, Trinity, A Few years ago and it has been a slow evolution to the point we are at. We are the last of the Blackthorne Estates and we continue to thrive, have fun and still have a dance once in a while. We still have a few faces that you might remember and true to the Blackthorne theme we are still a BDSM community with a few fun places to hang out.
Things have changed a lot.....The latest news, Eva married Bella this Friday Evening and it was a beautiful ceremony and the dance that followed, Rocked !!!
Now for the newest News....... Trinity is engaged to her loving and Devoted pet, Armunn!! A date has yet to be set but be prepared as it will be in the near future as they get themselves and their girls settled in there new home on Blackthorne Garden Estates.
I will be working on this blog more as the time go on so check back often as we keep you more up to date on the events and the happenings from Blackthorne Garden Estates.

Relay for Life is Comming to Blackthorne...
Blackthorne Gardens is Proud to be a host for this years events for the Relay for Life Charity.
Mark you calendars for some fun events as we are going to be going all out with this for everyone in ours and other communities around Second Life.
To Help this along, Kiosks will be placed around the grounds and in the club areas for all to help us achieve our goals. Remember that all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society but is being done on a global scale...
Triple Concert: Monday March 15th, 7:00 - 10:00 PM SLT
Lots of music, dancing and some surprises.
Jail & Bail: Sunday April 11th, 5:00 PM SLT - Whenever
Lock em up or bail them out.....you decide....this will be an all day event so be ready to party and lock up your favorite pet, gf/bf or wife/hubby....
Bid Bald: Monday May 17th, 7:00 - 9:00 PM SLT
You remember last year, Minh, Steph and others went bald.........well this year promises to be just as exciting with more hair cuts and some special guests might even opt for a hair cut!

Been to our events lately?
No clubhouse or club in all of SL can come close to what the Events Department team has been working on these past few months. It's been a slow, evolutionary process handling the events at the clubhouse since it first opened its doors. We've experimented a lot, learned and had fun along the way.
Now, we can confidently say that all the hard work, patience, and planning has paid off. Each week we turn the clubhouse into a spectacular themed set, and although you are still in the comfort and familiarity of the Blackthorne Estates Clubhouse that you all know and love, you never step into the same place twice.
Our themes have ranged from Disco Night (pictured above), Biker Bar, Phantom of the Opera, Hippie Night, Enchanted Forest and much much more!! What pulls it all together are you, our friends, neighbors, and patrons showing up ready to party and dressed in theme. Hell Night was full of mischevious and fun naughtiness. And the 1950's End of Summer BBQ was darling and fun as we went back to the past.
The DJs Night Alexandre (live on Tuesdays 9-11pm slt) and LadySoft Alexandre (live on Fridays 9-11pm slt) have been pulling out all the stops too! Their ever growing and awesome collection of tunes are set to match our always changing moods and themes, creating the perfect environment.
So, along with the physical changes, we have also been playing with the idea of creating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. But on the nights where we get 3-4 pages filled on the contest board it is so much more fun for everyone to win. Everyone is welcome to party at our clubhouse, we are the friendliest, most welcoming BDSM community in all of SL so make sure you bring your friends in too when you come party. Always the more the merrier.... in these cases anyway. ;)
Not sure what to wear to our events? The Clubhouse is usually set up and ready for exploring and use the day before the event (keeping time zones and global locations in mind, of course). You can always come get inspiration.
Also, we set out real props, toys, and furniture for couples and groups. These are there for enjoyment, use, and sometimes naughtiness! Don't be shy to be public and open about having fun!
The fun doesn't last JUST two hours. Make sure you come down to our Clubhouse anytime to enjoy yourself, relax, and have a good time.
Also, starting this Friday, September 4th, make sure you start taking pictures at the events and sending them to: nicolettepoutine@gmail.com for your chance to have your favorite clubhouse pictures put up on our blog!

I Have Sold Roissy
As many of you may know, I have sold Roissy. It was a very difficult decision, but thing in my real life were taking time. Roissy deserves someone with more time than I could give it. This will also give me more time for Blackthorne! You should see me around more.
I expect that our Roissy friends will still visit us as we will visit them too.
Also I am shutting down the Roissy Blog, and will use this one from now on.

Miss Sha and Pasque Wedding Vows Exchanged
Sha Serevi and Pasque Siddeley were united in matrimony in a beautiful ceremony on Saturday, June 20, at 8:30 am, SL time.
The bride wore white and was lovely in a dress especially designed to fit her gentle nature. Mistress Sha wore off white and her dress emphasized her charming nature.
The wedding was interrupted by Second Life disruptions, but Pearl Shieldmaiden stood in for the minister and administered perfect vows for the happy couple.
A reception followed with dancing and smoochy music.
The couple had been together for a year, and engaged for over 9 months. They each proclaim their love for the other.
The couple will continue to live in the Roissy community.
Please congratulate this happy couple.

Second Life Vigil for Iranian Freedom Fighers
Madison Arnahan of the Palais Orleans Art Studio and Designs has set aside a space on the front steps of her studio to honor the Freedom Fighters of Iran. Black candles with green strips representing solidarity for the Iranian Freedom Fighters are located at this site. A Solidarity poster is available at the site and is free for those who want to post a copy.
Madison expresses her deepest respect and heartfelt prayers for the brave Iranian men and women who are daily willing to give up their lives for the gift of freedom. She urges all to share her vigil.
Search for the Palais Orleans Art Studio and Designs for the location of her studio and her monument placed in honor of these heroes.
Memorial for Sir Angstrom Cazalet
Sir Angstrom Cazalet passed away on June 12th. Sir Angstrom was one of the original Roissy Masters, and his many friends at Roissy will sorely miss him.
A memorial honoring Sir Angstrom's life with his Roissy friends was held on Thursday, June 18th in the Palas ballroom. Many of his friends were in attendance.
Elizabeth Weinberg, Miss Di Milev, Miss Jayne Barr, and his sub Jadeflower Wilder spoke passionately of their love for Sir Angstrom and his contribution to each of us at Roissy. Finally, Miss Zen Zemlja read a touching poem, speaking of loss and of hope.
Over 22,000L was contributed by members of the Roissy community to Relay for Life in the name and memory of Sir Angstrom which speaks of the high regard the community held for Sir Angstrom.
A plaque honoring Sir Angstrom's life will be placed in the newly constructed Remembrance Chapel behind the Palais. Miss Deusen Marx generously agreed to construct the chapel as a place for solace and meditation. Once completed, the Roissy community will be invited to use the chapel as a place of quiet remembrance for those we have lost and those of our friends who are dear to us all here at Roissy.
Below is a poem contributed by Sir Angstrom's sub and placed on Sir Angstrom's obituary:

Things a Noobie Should Know by Devlish Beeswing
Noobie Stuff.
There are things to buy, to wear, to use, and to build with, there are three conditions that apply to such things.
No Copy this means you cannot copy it, you only have that one version of it. If you give it to someone else you will no longer have one for your self!
No Mod This means it cannot be changed, its appearance is FIXED. So if it is not quite what you wanted don't buy it.
No Transfer This means this is yours and cannot be given to anyone else! You use it, store it, or destroy it!
If you put something down on the ground, it will probably end up in your lost and found folder sooner or later.
Do not keep making copies of things you will run out of room at the worst possible time!
Make Folders to keep frequently used items, like your current body and shape.
Learn how to move things around in the inventory, create special folders, clothes, footware and other categories. If I told you mine it would spoil all the fun of exploration.
Learn how to use the inventory search function. Try (Worn, then highlight an item then remove (Worn, see where you are in the inventory. Make notes of usefull things you don't do often. Learn how to edit things, so get a pose stand. Don't pick-up every free thing you see, you will fill your inventory quickly enough as it is!
Make a copy of your self BEFORE you edit your appearance!
Use the mini map and Map to find your way aroundeven consider walking (Joke).
Use the Search function to find Places, People and things that interest you.
Learn how to fly! Learn how to emote. Learn how to make friends and not piss people off! DON'T SHOUT!

The Roissy/Blackthorne Creative Writing group meets in the Palais Brew, the coffee shop upstairs in the Palais Gallery on Wednesday at 5:00 PM (SL) and on Sunday at noon (SL).
Some people come with poems and prose to share. Some writing is about BDSM and some writing is about the everyday feelings of everyday people. Some come only to listen. Everyone is welcome.
We do not criticize. We share our thoughts and our feelings. We learn to know each other.

to drown in your own bloodstream.

Erotic Poetry Slam was a Huge Success!!!
Well, after lots of planning, lots of group notices and I am sure, lots of broken pencils, we pulled off our first Erotic Poetry Slam! We had about 8 entrants, all with great poems. We started off the event with words from me and they even let me recite my own little poem. Yes they even politely clapped.
Disaster Krogstad was our MC and did a great job. A gentleman who kept the focus where it should be, on the poems! Our poems were divided into two categories, voice performance and chat performance. There was a winner in each category, plus an over all winner. A shy poets had their poems read by surrogates, which was fine.
Thank you everyone who submitted, and or organizers, Disaster, Koshka, Zebulon2 AND of course Zena for supplying the great prizes!

UGH! So many changes no Blog posts
So...Blackthorne is Not Dead! Quite the opposite. Its keeping me so busy I haven't had much time to post! We also add Roissy - the Story of O to our community which has been and amazing yet exhausting experience. We know have a community of over 3000 people with 16 sims. I think the largest BDSM community (I am not counting clubs) by far.
I have also been very busy building a new place for Blackthorne. The old club house was just tooo small. The new place is Japanese themed with lots of shibari and a bigger and nice mall. The grand open opening is January 31st! Make sure and be there!

Tuesday, August 26 (12-3PM): Nico Presents: Ear Sex - Nico spins an assortment of music that ranges from Arabian Bellydancing to Industrial-Metal. As always, clothing optional, so feel free to join the naked kitten as she plays some of the most orgasmic tunes around.

I am finally 21!
I celebrated my 21st birthday at the clubhouse at BTE, this past Thursday, August 7, '08. It was great, and my dream came true when EVERYONE arrived naked! Everyone was probably expecting it (I never wear clothes). The greatest part about it is that I got to spend it with Master and my two sisters. It couldn't have been better, and most (but obviously not all) of the people that I cared about the most were able to come celebrate with me. Too bad we only have one birthday a year... it's my favorite holiday :D!

Aside from the birthday party, I was promoted to GM this past week as well. I'm honored to be trusted with this responsibility, and I won't let anyone down. When Minh first told me about Blackthorne months ago, I was so excited about the idea. I didn't expect it, however, to become my home. I love and believe in Blackthorne, you all know where to find me :D

Stephanie Lindman is our Newest Admiral
It was a hard fought race! We had 6 contestants vying for the title of Blackthorne Admiral! The course was difficult and long, the wind...unpredictable. The sailors (which included me!) each bet 250L on the each race to make it even more interesting. Several races were run, and Stephanie won each one! She was focused, she was fast, she was indominitable!
Each race, there was at least one person hard on her stern, but she pulled through every time! Congrats to Steph...our BLACKTHORNE ADMIRAL!

This Weeks Events
This week we'll have a Nautical/Pirate theme. We'll be crowning our admiral(s) at the pirate party and also the winner of the yacht races. That's right....two ways to be an admiral! Last week was great, even given my sickness and business! Here is this weeks tentative schedule. If you want to race get a Flying Tako boat. They are easy to sail and real cheap. It's what we'll use for our races.

Fourth of July Celebration a Huge Success!!
We held our Fourth of July Celebration on the 3rd ( we all of course had other plans on the fourth). Turn out was great! Evangeline Ling and Jeffry Pastorelli donated fireworks. Minh-Dustrial sounds provided the music!'
The themed outfits were amazing, and sexy. Sapphire's emitted american flags (I don't think Sapphire is even American!). There were some tiny star spangled bikinis. But when the voting came in, Sapphire one the majority of the votes.
Eva finally become un-piggied! We stayed up well past the planned end of the event chatting and dancing and flirting. Can't wait for next year!

New Lurve
I am in love, not just a little bit, but major fallen head over heels style. You know that feeling of butterflies in the tummy, head in fuzz…and the aspirations of what could come next.
Have you guessed it?
Those who know Trolldoll, well, may have guessed it is with a toy. Not just any toy but a Trainer Ball Gag. It is gorgeous. The ball perfectly sized to fill a gorgeous little mouth. Originally the ball was red however discovered what a hitch…the taste.
Now for those into taste torture this gag is exceptionally the one to choose. However, I have used Black bondage tape to cover it with to disguise the taste. In my opinion it looks better, with the shiny black smooth finish. The ball is held in place by four soft purple leather straps. The silver buckles meeting and holding it firm. No escape, no verbal protesting…I can see hours of pleasure….

Back to Sl, if you see a lady walking / flying about wearing a Santa hat that is most likely to be me. Well after numerous people suggested I went shopping, so a friend and I went. We had great fun, in and out of the freebie Malls, picking up bits here and there. I have to also recomend many of the other shops, although some of the items cost but such great value. Any ways, we came home with a new box of kinky toys to play with.
Has anyone got any ideas where I can find a violet wand on sl such as the one below?
